Summer is on it’s way! Last weekend saw the return of boardies, t-shirts, and thongs as the weather warmed from a beautifully hot couple of days last week.
My appetite was whet: I can’t wait for summer! (If you can’t wait, here’s how to bring back summer.)

You have ‘cricket on the radio’ yes i agree. But you have forgotten, ‘cricket on the TV’, ‘cricket at the SCG’ and ‘cricket in the backyard’ (the last one especially)
A few other suggestions:
- bliss
- schoolies week
But that’s it you have nailed that list, i agree with everyone of them!
Of course! And cricket in the pool, and car cricket.
You’ll notice I included beach cricket, though.
I had to weed some out because they were too long.
(For example, the feeling of diving into water on a scorching summer’s day, the feeling of watermelon juice running down your arm, being totally stuffed full of fruit.)
Bliss is an official addition.
I’ve not been on schoolies, maybe I’ll have to add it when I get back (woooohoooo!)
I suspect that many of the things I loved in the past (digging for christmas beetles, bouncing on a trampoline for hours) will pass, but hopefully I’ll find even better things to love (road trip!).

3. Going on holidays(haven’t done this for years though, haha).
