I'm not sure, in and of itself, wealth is a bad thing - it's simply the love of it. By all means, if it's causing you to sin - cut it off. Go live under your bridge, if that is what you have to do. However, I don't think Christian posse's of homeless people are going to be effective evangelisers. Be in the world! Don't be that weirdo who lives down the street (or in the alleyway) but be someone who people want to relate to. Be in the world so you can show the world what more there is.
